Internal regulation and campsite rules

These requirements are only to ensure an enjoyable and safe stay during your holiday, so this means total acceptance and understanding of these rules at customer’s check-in. The disobedience of these rules, unfortunately gives us the right to ask you to leave our Campsite. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission and may compel anyone who misbehaves or violates the camping regulations to leave their facilities.

On the other hand, our aim is to constantly improve our services to the customers, that’s why we invite you to inform us of any opinion or advice you may have.

1. ADMISSION:

The check-in must be done on arrival, including all extra expenses to be billed, as well as the number of family guests.
Any change must be reported to the Reception. If not, the modifications will not be deducted from the bill, and the increases will be charged referring to the total stay in the campsite.
At your arrival at the campsite you should pay a deposit/guarantee of 50.- Euros if you stay in a pitch or a location.
If the campsite detects any concept which was not included in the reservation or in the stay, we will charge it for all the stay.
The family head and all members older than 14 years, shall be identified on arrival with their in force ID/Passport.
The entrance is forbidden to all persons under 18 years old if they are not accompanied by a responsible adult.
Visits are allowed only if previously requested at Reception.

2. SCHEDULE:

The check-in is from 12 noon until 21 P.M. for pitches and from 17 PM until 21 PM for lodgements.
The check-out must be before 11:00 AM in pitches and lodgements. We suggest you to see other schedules on the notice board.

3. LOCATION AND EMPLACEMENT:

The pitch number will be given by the Reception and only one family unit will occupy the site; in the occupation of the limited pitch there must be a separation of 60 cm. from the last element to the next pitch. Unoccupied tents or caravans are not allowed to stay in the Campsite. If any guest wishes to move to another site, they should ask permission from Reception first.
In order to keep the grass of the pitches in good conditions, the non transpirables or raincoats mats are not allowed.
At the departure time, pitches and lodgements must remain clean and in the same conditions that were found on arrival, what will be necessary to get the deposit of 50.- Euros back.

4. CHECK-OUT AND BILLING:

Credit cards are not accepted as a form of payment. Payment of bills must be done before 11 a.m. of the date of departure. Otherwise, another day will be charged to that account. We recommend you to pay the previous afternoon of your departure date.

5. GAMES, SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES:

Swimming-pool, mini-football, volley-ball, ping-pong, fitness and children’s park services are free of charges, although to use the last three ones you should make a reservation at the reception desk. The Fitness room is forbidden to all persons under 18 years old.
The campsite is not responsible about accidents you might have while practicing games and sports in the campsite’s facilities.

6. COHABITATION:

You should respect the maximum speed of 6 mil/h.(10 km/h) for vehicles in all the campsite enclosure. Driving is not allowed between 12 p.m. till 7 a.m. If you are leaving in that period, you should park your vehicle in the car parking next to the Reception. For aesthetics and ecology reasons, the campsite roads are not paved, that’s why on rainy days we ask you to drive as little as possible.
We inform you that it is forbidden to drive Scooters, crossroad motorbikes or similar vehicles across the campsite area, exception is made for those equipped with a motorbike silencer.
You are required to leave/park cars within the pitch assigned, otherwise this shall be interpreted as an extra car for which you can be charged in your stay.
We beg for absolute silence between 12 p.m. and 7 a.m.; in this period, recreational games and carwash cannot be used, time radios, TV sets, conversations etc., are not to be heard from one site to another. Out of that period, and coverall between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. we also recommend silence as the best sound.
Rules for safety in case of fire or emergency and the steps to follow in those cases, are shown at Reception.

7. NATURAL ENVIRONMENT:

In this campsite we are pleased to be respectful about flora and fauna (we recommend you to have a look at the cataloguing and index); for that reason it’s absolutely forbidden to disturb the mentioned species by hunting or breaking its natural harmony, feeding them and it is also forbidden to pass through the fence which divides the animals area. Please respect trees and plants, and don’t allow others to damage them. It is also forbidden to attach wires to trees or to fix nails.
To preserve the environment it’s forbidden to pour waste water directly onto the ground. It is compulsory to use chemical WC’s which are next to the toilet buildings. We also recommend to use ecological cleaning products to respect the environment.
Draining points in pitches are for grey water. Black water must be dumped at the chemical WC located next to the toilettes buildings.
One of our emblematic facilities is our biological water treatment plant, for grey and black water purification. If you are interested in knowing its process, ask at the Reception and we´ll explain it to you with pleasure.
We remind you the importance or selective rubbish collection, we recommend you to use our specific containers for waste paper, glass, batteries and plastics situated in several strategic areas across the Campsite.
This Campsite has many public barbeques, which can be used, with the maximum care and cleaning.
Open barbecues are not allowed, unless with a controlled conduction for smoke, being 50 cm. above the ground, with a water bucket next to it, without flames and when you finish, you should throw the ashes in a special container, next to the other containers. It’s totally forbidden to light a fire on the floor and burn firecrackers or others.

8. SUPPLIES:

The power supply in all Campsite is 220 V and 6/10 Amp, d/p. Customers may not handle electrical connections, and they should bring wires and adapters. If the connection distance exceeds 15 meters, the Campsite will provide an extension wire.
The water is drinkable in all the campsite, except in the green hoses, which you can use to water your pitch. We recommend a rational use of water and lighting, please take advantage of these facilities in an appropriate manner.
The fountains spread all across the Campsite are to be used as a source of water, not to be used to wash clothes or dishes.
Sinks will be used for dishwashing and laundries to wash up the clothes.

9. PHONE CALLS AND POST:

Messages for the campsite guests will be taken and kept at the Reception. In case of emergency we’ll bring the message directly to the customer, if they have informed the reception where they are in the campsite. The post box is at your disposal at Reception.

10. LODGEMENTS: REGULATION AND SPECIFIC RULES

The check-in in the lodgements will be from 17 h in the afternoon.
The lodgements must be left before 11 h in the morning of the check-out day. Otherwise, we would charge an extra day.
Pets of any kind are not allowed in the lodgements.
All the equipment in the lodgements have been stock-taken by the campsite management (you will find a copy inside the lodgement).
At the end of the stay, we will proceed to verify that the lodgement and the mentioned equipment remains in the same conditions it was delivered when you did the check-in. Otherwise, in case of damage, missing objects inside the lodgement or extra cleaning costs, those will be deduced of the deposit which you paid.

11. ANIMALS: REGULATION AND SPECIFIC RULES

This campsite allows the entrance of animals, however the admission of them is reserved for the direction of the campsite in cases we think oportune.
The animals have to be always on a lead and under surveillance of its owner inside the campsite. In any case the animal could be alone, although it is on a lead.
The animals have an especific area to do their needs. Otherwise, if the animal do their needs in another place, the owner have to take it and throw it into the right place. The transgression of this rule could be a reason to check out the costumer of the campsite.
It’s totally forbidden the entrance to the animals into the lodgements (estudios, mobilhomes and bungalows), in the bar, in the sanitary building, the fitness room neither in the swimming pool’s enclosure.
It’s totally forbidden the entrance to the dogs considered dangerous (Rottweiler, Dobberman, Bullmastiff, Argentinian Dog, Bordeaux Dog, Fila Brasileiro, Neapolitan Mastin, Pit Bull, Presa Canary, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Tosa Japan (Tosa Inu), Akita Inu, American Terrier Staffordshire, …).

12. SWIMMING POOLS: REGULATION AND SPECIFIC RULES

The aim of this regulations sheet is to assure the observance of the rules concerning the use of the swimming–pools, and the guarantee of a convenient use of this service and its facilities.
We have a heated pool (25ºC) and a leisure pool.
The swimming-pools and its enclosures are opened from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The campsite assumes no liability for misuse of this area outside of opening hours.
Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
You are not allowed to handle glass or hard-composed materials in the swimming–pools or in their areas.
We recommend you take a shower before entering the swimming–pools, in order to prevent troubles like stomach cramp, dizziness… That will help to keep the water’s quality as well.
If you disturb the other costumers, in an acoustic way, like high music or running or sprinkling around the swimming-pools, the rest of costumers will not have a quiet holydays.
The use of objects in the swimming-pools like mattresses, balls or the practising of any games, could cause annoying and chaos in the swimming-pools and in their enclosures, and it will harm the costumers who want a quiet stay.
Don’t wear street clothes or shoes beside the swimming-pools. Instead, wear beach sandals or flip-flops. No one is allowed to enter the swimming-pools wearing T-shirts unless under medical prescription.
Avoid eating in the pool’s areas to prevent insects like ants, flies, etc.
Don’t smoke in the swimming-pools areas.
Please throw rubbish in the rubbish baskets, it will help us to keep clean the campsite.
In order to prevent sunburn, we recommend you use sunscreen lotion every day.
Pets are not allowed to enter the swimming-pools areas.
The water treatment equipments guarantee clean water and achieves appropriate phisic-chemical and microbiological conditions, as well as the regulation of chlorine among 0,5 and 2, and pH levels among 7 and 7,8 respectively.
Daily information on water treatment is available for guests at the Reception.
The products used for cleaning and disinfecting the pools are guaranteed by providers; the Campsite management selects and handles the most ecological.
The heated swimming-pool can hold up to 66 people inside, and up to 219 people in its entire enclosure. The leisure pool can hold up to 125 people inside, and up to 300 people in its entire enclosure.
Lifeguard service: The total surface of the heated pool is less than 200 sq. meters, so the heated pool hasn’t a specific lifeguard service (P. Art. 17). The leisure pool has lifeguard staff during its opening schedule, from June 12th till September 12th.
These requirements intend only to help the guests to improve their personal safety, as well as assuring a better stay in our Campsite.

13. KID’S CLUB: REGULATION AND SPECIFIC RULES

The kids club offers to children several activities so as to improve their development amongst themselves and also to make them possible to establish new friendships, whilst having a good time under the responsibility here established. Their assistance is totally free and voluntary, therefore the decision to take part belongs only to themselves and their parents.
The camping and the person in charge will take good care of the children in the different activities undertaken, for which, we kindly ask to take part. The camping or the Kids Club has absolute no responsibility in case of any prejudice or accident that could happen between the kids, and we reserve the right to refuse Admission.
The Instructress must be informed if a child suffers any disease, physical reduction, allergy, etc… and it must be clearly indicated on the inscription form.
Photographs of children which could be taken, could be used to diffuse our services and activities.
The opening schedule is from Monday till Saturday from 3 pm till 8 pm for children among 3 and 12 years. The Kid’s Club is next to the Restaurant.

14. DATA PROTECTION AND IMAGE RIGHTS POLICIES

In accordance with the Organic Law 15/1999 on Personal data protection, we hereby inform you that your personal data will be stored in an automated file property of Càmping Begur S.L. for the purpose of customer administrative management and communiction work. If you wish to make use of the right of access, rectification or cancellation of your data, please write to Camping Begur S.L., Ctra.d’Esclanyà 4, 17255 Begur.
According to the Organic Law 1/1982 on the Civil protection of the right to honour, personal and family intimacy and self-image, we inform you that with the admission to the Camping, customers allow Camping Begur S.L. to make use of the images taken in the campsite, in order to reproduce them solely for purposes of touristic promotion and broadcasting the activities organized and held in Camping Begur.
